Added ringtone and screensaver support for Samsung M520, the slimline slider upgrade to the Samsung M510. Also improved compression quality on Sprint PCS phone screensaver uploads.
On the hardware front, Samsung's 3G Instinct is set for release in mid-June. It's an iPhone-like device compatible with the Sprint network.

Pcsphonetones.com has extended ringtone and screensaver storage length on our website to 30 days. Previously ringtones and screensavers would be "garbage collected" after 7 days on the server. Now you can upload and share your ringtones and screensavers with friends and family for 30 days without worrying about it being auto-deleted before they get a chance to download it.

Today we added ringtone and screensaver support for the following phones: Sanyo Katana II, Sanyo SCP-3200, Sanyo Katana DLX, LG Muziq LX-570, Motorola RAZR2 V9m, Sanyo S1, LG Rumor. We added ringtone only support for Palm Centro. If you have any issues with these phones, please post them in the message board, or use the contact form.

Ringtone and screensaver sharing is now enabled. If you make a ringtone or screensaver, you can share it with your friends. Just follow the link for "Share with another user", enter your friend's username and click "share". You can even share ringtones that were shared with you.

Analyst have estimated that Apple has already sold around 500,000 iPhones. Despite the higher Cingular (I refuse to call it AT&T) service plan, expensive batteries ($85 replacement battery), small storage size (compared to iPods), and the 55%+ profit margin that Apple is gobbling up, people are still lining up to get the iPhone.

Qualcomm's Purevoice allows you to use the record button to capture whatever sound is coming through your speakers to make a qcp file in one easy step. Record free ringtones (realtones) from any sounds you can get to play on your computer. Then just upload the qcp ringtone to your account, go to http://3g.pcsphonetones.com with your phone, login, and you're ready to download the free ringtone to your phone. If you have any problems, check the forums for threads about setting your windows system sounds.

Business Week reports heightened talks about a buyout or acquisition of Sprint. The company has never improved it's foothold since the $35 billion dollar buyout of Nextel (which, like AT&T's attempt to rebrand, I've stated was/is a horrible idea). The report stated that the company was in the middle of a turnaround, I would call it more of a downward spiral.
